Lately, I've been writing a new Zelgadis/Amelia fan fic, in which the cast from Slayers retell the myth of "Cupid and Psyche". Thus, I felt the urge to draw some fan art for it. I'm very pleased with the results, considering I'm still trying to get the hand of colouring with photoshop.
For those people out there who have never heard the myth of "Cupid and Psyche", you can easily search for it on the internet or you can also go to Encyclopedia Mythica: [link] It's a great place to go to find information on myths, legends and folklore from around the world.
I used a .05 pen to ink, then I coloured it in photoshop.
Very Pretty
Amelia looks good in that dress It sounds very interesting and a good idea to take a good mythology and mix it with a great anime like Slayers ^^
Oh dear god...*SQUEE* I can't believe I missed this pic! ^^ The myth of Eros and Psyche has always been one of my very favorites, and this is just gorgeous, with the right touch of adorable. ^____^ I love the detail you put into the pic, and the colors are vivid and beautiful. I love Amelia's dress, and...heehee...Zel looks so adorable in wings, and his shoes....*cacklesquee*
AWwwawawwawawaw Amelia is soooo cute :333 I love her expression how she looks so dreaming. Her hair reflects the moonlight, and she is with angel-wings, stars shining on a bright night sky... And Zel looks great too, other than his feet... :I And his wings look fantastic! Absolutely cute picture! Ameliaa, sweetest of them all! :3

You're fighting an Irritating Series of Random Encounters
You try to walk from the front of the airship to the back, but you are unable to do so without being attacked by a series of 30 or 40 nearly identical nondescript enemies. Man, that's irritating

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant.
